Jazzie’s Niall Imagine Request
"He’s Not Worth Your Tears"
You knocked on your best friend, Niall’s, door, crying hysterically. You weren’t even sure if he was home, but you didn’t care, you needed him. You took short breaths, your cheeks damp as you waited, praying that he would be inside. He opened the door, his cell phone between his ear and his shoulder.
“Oh my, I need to call you back,” he said quickly before hanging up and taking your shoulders, looking at you extremely concerned. “What happened?” he asked softly, wiping a tear away before placing his hand over your hair.
“I… I caught him… I caught him cheating,” you stuttered out, shutting your eyes tight. He tilted his head in sympathy, tugging one of his arms around your waist, placing his other hand on the back of your head, stroking your hair.
“I’m sorry,” he practically whispered as you sobbed into his shoulder, pulling your arms to your chest, holding his shirt lightly. “Did you dump him?” he asked, swaying you side to side, trying to calm you down.
“Yeah,” you breathed, allowing him to bring you inside.
“Good. He doesn’t deserve you,” he spoke as he shut the door but kept his arm around you, leading you to the couch. You sat down as he brought you the tissue box. “Do you want anything? Tea? Food?”
“No,” you managed to answer in between your hiccups. He sat down next to you and wrapped his arm around your shoulder as you wiped your cheeks with a tissue, your bottom lip quivering. He kissed your forehead slowly, giving you a gentle squeeze.
“Do you wanna tell me what happened?” he asked sensitively, rubbing your arm. You calmed down a bit, steadying your breath.
“I… uh… I was going to his apartment a little early, and… and when I got there, he was, uh… he was kissing this girl outside…” You shut your eyes, biting your lip hard. “And… and when he saw me…” You told a shaky breath before continuing. “He… he pretended like he had never seen me before. He didn’t apologize or even try to make up an excuse. He just… he just ignored me like I never meant anything to him,” you spoke unsteadily, burying your face into his neck.
“What a jerk,” he mentioned quietly, wrapping his arms around you, kissing your head. “He’s not worth your tears, beautiful,” he whispered as you pulled away, looking up at him.
“I hate seeing you like this,” he whispered, holding your face loosely, looking at you with his sad, blue eyes.
“I hate feeling like this,” you replied, frowning. He started moving closer to you, and at first you weren’t sure what he was doing, but when you became aware, you turned away, piercing your lips together. “I can’t.”
“Because I just…” You looked back up at him, knowing how you truly felt for the blonde boy in front of you. Suddenly you found yourself kissing him, his hands set over your hair, your fingers grasping his shirt.
“I’ll never hurt you,” he told you faintly, looking deep into your eyes. “I’ll never be like him. Ever.”
“I know.” He took you into another hug, his body warm and comfortable. “Thank you.” He nodded, placing a small grin on your face.
Hope you like it Jazzie! xx
